This rare and unusual TVR, the 2500M was produced from 1972 until 1977. This numbers matching example is 1 of just 947 produced worldwide and 1 of only 135 in 1975. It had a complete restoration and is a beautiful example in Audi TT Silver. It had 65,000 miles when the 6 year restoration started and now has 70,239. The engine is a Triumph 6-cylinder 2.5 Liter that produces 140hp with twin SU carburetors and has a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine number is 312388. The original horsepower was 104 and the output was increased by raising the compression ratio, adding a mild cam shaft and retuning the SU carburetors. The head was skinned to attain a compression ratio of 8.75:1. The block was thoroughly cleaned and the crank was reground, balanced and polished. It has a new flywheel, clutch and front pulley assembly.
